Glad you liked "Nueve Reinas", still I'd say one of the best things to come out of Argentine cinema in the 90s. (As a kind of fatuous PS, someone in the US actually remade this as taking place in . . . LA.) Also captured very well the feeling of living in BA at the time, not least that sense of imminent but invisible economic disaster.
Nice, I'll check it out. I feel like there's some fun stuff from Argentina, but I only know the basics, so I felt weirdly kind of proud of myself for stumbling onto Nine Queens.
Also, if you don't mind protracting a literally profitless conversation, how did you come across Nueve Reinas? In the English-watching world I've only seen it mentioned very occasionally as a kind of "The Grifters" also-ran.
Will check out Wild Tales for sure. I think seeing The Delinquents a few years ago led me to look for more films from Argentina, but all I can really remember is I found it on letterboxd. By the way, if you have any recommendations for contemporary Argentinean literature, I'd be interested. I liked Pedro Mairal's The Woman from Uruguay, and enjoy Pola Oloixarac and Cesar Aira in moderation, but I'm sure that's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what's out there.

If you'd be interested in a follow-up, check out the same director's "El Aura", https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aura_(film)
(Guy died very shortly after making this movie, heart attack while filming an ad in Brazil. Horrific loss.)

*Absolutely* don't want to spam you with recommendations, but "Wild Tales" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Tales_(film)) extremely funny in a very Argentine way, would also recommend.
